Presented by the Jazz Studies Program at Bakersfield College, the annual Panorama Creative Music Summit is a showcase for new and original music by visiting artists, local performers, and BC students, faculty, and alumni. This year’s tenth annual summit features Los Angeles electro-jazz duo DOLPHIN HYPERSPACE with saxophonist Nicole McCabe and bassist Logan Kane.

Widely known for their legendary concerts featuring instrumental madness amongst zany synths and bonkers dance beats, Dolphin Hyperspace finds a new lane of expression within modern jazz and beat culture. They often collaborate with LA's finest drummers, namely Louis Cole and Justin Brown. For this show, they will be joined by the BC Jazz Ensemble for a special big band collaboration. This will be a high energy electronic jazz show with a uniquely dynamic production - and one you'll never forget!

Dolphin Hyperspace will work with students in BC’s Jazz Studies program from September 14-16 with two free public events in the Simonsen Performing Arts Center Indoor Theater: an artist talk on Monday, September 14 at 1pm, and a concert with BC student combos and the Jazz Ensemble on Wednesday, September 16 at 7pm.
